Now that I scared the crap out of you go have fun with it but do it safely. There is a forum on the helicopter link is below.
TREX 450 DFC PLUS GEAR RATIO HOW TO
If you have never flown a collective pitch helicopter you will have no idea how to properly correct the orientation should a situation arise relating to the setup of the aircraft.Īt a minium if the above are not options you are interested in go to a local club and learn about it first. There is a lot that goes into the proper setup and pre flight of a 450 that can make things go very wrong quickly and there is no guarantee that it is setup perfectly out of the box.

TREX 450 DFC PLUS GEAR RATIO SIMULATOR
I highly advise either getting a simulator or a small micro size helicopter and become very proficient at flying first. If you are completely new to collective pitch aircraft be very careful so that you don't injure yourself or someone else. The Trex 450 is a very fast responding aircraft, it is probably one of the most common aircraft flown. Question is, does anybody have the same setup and can you advise me if the factory settings are appropriate for a newbie, and if not anybody have any recommendations for the settings to make this a little easier?

The heli came with an Align T6 Tx, and apaprently is setup to fly staight from the box. I'm a complete newbie to normal RC heli's, have flown quads for about 6 months now and decided to have a go with a TRex 450 ready to fly.
